About Us

We at Food for Thought, are one of Staffordshire's longest established caterers with over 33 years of experience in organising events.

Our Food

We are full time professional caterers with over 3,000 sq. ft. of stainless steel professional kitchens. Presentation is always of paramount importance and our aim is always to supply you with quality fresh food. We roast all our own meats and cook with fresh potatoes, vegetables & fresh herbs whenever possible. Fresh soups, gravy and sauces.
All special diets can be catered for on request.

Our Staff

We have a ‘hand-picked’ team of professional chef’s, waiters/waitresses, banqueting manager & banquet co-ordinator . They are all personally picked by our managing director and some have been with us for over 20 years. It is their job to look after you and your guests on the day.
We genuinely feel we give you superb quality food, the best all round service, unrivalled value for money and our professional and personal attention to every detail.

What's Included

All our prices are fully inclusive of crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen tablecloths, napkins, (all where applicable) They exclude vat at the current rate at time of the event, some menus have a minimum catering number (please check with the office).
All prices are guaranteed until December 31st 2012.

Showroom Hours

We are open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5.00pm OR ANY EVENING BY APPOINTMENT (Easy Parking).

Wedding Receptions & Civil Partnerships

We are renowned for our Wedding Receptions, It is the most important day in your life and should be treated as such. Our staff will pamper you and your guests, making everyone feel at ease. There is a senior member of staff there who will act as a Master of Ceremony if you require.

Corporate Hospitality & Business Lunches

We can cater for large or small corporate events from business lunches for the boardroom, training, or sales seminars to the largest of corporate events, company launches, open days, sales promotions, birthdays etc.

All other Functions/Celebrations

We cater for all events, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christenings, House Warming, Blessings, Funerals etc.

Sportsmens and Club Dinners

We undertake all types of dinners for Sports Clubs, Charity Organisations, Groups etc. Ask us for our Special Menus.

Funerals

Choose any menu in this brochure or ask us for a special Funeral Pack.

Licensed Bars

We are fully Licensed Caterers offering top quality Bars (usually free of charge) to all our customers.

Having trouble finding a Venue?

We can probably help here too. We have the contact details of over 60 venues across the North Staffordshire area. We would locate and check availability out for you, all you have to do is view them and tell us which one you have chosen, or we offer a marquee hire service to our clients even with available sites.
